Parnis PA2123 (White Version)

When researching for my best minimalist watches roundup, I discovered the Parnis PA2123; one of the lowest-cost automatic watches that doesn’t suck!

With a Nomos-inspired design and a Sea-Gull automatic movement for Casio-rivaling prices, this model presents stunning value for money. The strap alone (at least from the AliExpress seller I purchased from), is outrageously good, to the extent that it could probably be sold for most of the watch’s retail price by itself!

While the dial is rather simplistic, as is often the case with these budget minimalist watches, you’ll be surprised to learn that the PA2123 has a decorated automatic Sea-Gull movement, which blows away the mainstay big brands it competes with at this cost. The main sacrifice is case finishing, while it’s far from bad, it’s simplistic, with a simple polished look throughout.

If you’re looking for a minimalist watch and don’t mind the larger size (or Chinese brand), then this is a home run for those on a tight budget!
